Please follow the instructions below: On the day PRIOR TO ESWL: Have your big meal of the day at lunch and have a liquids thereafter. 6:00 p.m. - Take two (2) Dulcolax tablets by mouth (sold at pharmacies over the counter in the laxative section). Follow these with two (2) large (8-10 oz.) glasses of water. 6:00 p.m. to Midnight - Drink only clear liquids. Try to remain well-hydrated. Do not eat or drink anything after midnight.
